We are pleased to announce that this year’s commencement ceremony will be broadcast live for you to share with all your family and friends who might not be able to make it to our school.

The event is scheduled to start at 1pm tomorrow (Tuesday June 29th) but we anticipate the feed being set up by 11am so that you can test you connections and watch everyone trickle in to the ceremony.

Note the toggle full screen option in the bottom right corner of the feed for best viewing quality.

UPDATE: click bellow to watch a replay of our graduation, its a bid fuzzy at times but it does regain focus.

Week 19 – ENG 4U1 – Matthews

Here is the schedule for our final week of class:

Monday:
- All poetry panels are presented today.
- Sample Exam essay questions distributed today.

Tuesday:
- The in-class portion of your exam is today. You MUST be in class. You will have 30 minutes to complete the poetry section of your exam.

Wednesday:
- Valedictory Addresses today
- You must hand in an annotated copy of your Valedictory Address

Thursday:
- Finishing any Valedictory Addresses that we didn’t have time for.

Friday:
- REVIEW for exam. Going over some of the sample essay questions as a class.
- Period 4 class will write their exam this afternoon. You will have 2 hours.

Period 2 class – Your exam is on Tuesday, June 22 at 8:30. You will have 2 hours to complete the exam.

Week 19 – ENG 2L1 – Matthews

Here is our schedule for our final week of class:

Monday:
- Creating good copies of all articles for your magazine. We will be in the library.

Tuesday:
- Finishing magazine – the final touches on your cover, table of contents, etc.

Wednesday:
- Presentations on your magazines. Handing the magazine in.
- Getting started on Review for exam.

Thursday:
- Working on the exam review handout.

Friday:
-Taking up Exam review handout and playing a game.

Reminder:
Your exam is on Monday afternoon next week. You will have 1 hour to complete your exam.

Commencement

Tuesday, June 29^th, 2010 beginning at 1:00pm

at Courtice Secondary School

(grads to arrive at 12:15pm)

Each graduate will be allotted three tickets for guests. This ticket limit is necessary due to space limitations. Students are encouraged to share unneeded tickets with others. Tickets will be distributed in June for those graduating students attending. If you require extra tickets and cannot find tickets to share please send your request to David_Chatten@kprdsb.ca. A maximum of two extra tickets will be allotted by random draw on June 11th and those people will be notified by email on June 15th.

Evan Esselink
Sr 1500m – BRONZE – 3:52.34 **PB **School Record
Sr 3000m – 4th place – 8:32.68

BJ Cunliffe
800m Heats – first in heat – 1:54.82 Advanced to final with #3 time
800m Final – DNF – Unfortunately his asthma thwarted his final effort
