Senior girls volleyball wins LOSAA

Courtice girls volleyball LOSAA champions

The Courtice Cougars senior girls volleyball team defeated Oshawa’s Pereyma Patriots to win the LOSAA AA title and now advance to this week’s OFSAA Provincial Championship in Perth. The Cougars won two straight sets 25-22, 25-22.

As we continue our Literacy Unit we will have our first quiz on our novels content. We are also starting our Poetry Unit this week.

This week we will be presenting our Graphic Poems Assignment (Monday). We will be also starting our new novel study – Fahrenheit 451.

This week we are continuing our Literacy Novel Study. We will be finishing our Short Story unit with a unit test (Mar 2) our Short Story Assignment (Due: Wed. Mar 3nd). Period 1: Guest Speaker (Thurs). Friday – both classes are in the Lab working on a character profile.

Eng 2D
This week we are continuing our Poetry Unit and our analysis of poems. We will be in the computer lab both Thurs & Fri. working on a group graphic poetry assignment. Note: ISU – Biographies – Due: Wed. Mar 3rd.

Hello ENG 4U students,

This week we will be beginning our novel study of Fifth Business You will be given a reading calendar for the unit so make sure that you keep up as we will be having a quiz after each section of the text.

In addition to Fifth Business, it is suggested that you are reading your ISU novel – finish it by the end of March so that you can start reading your ISU play.
