Participants will learn to screen for and assess sleep problems using data-based methodologies, including sleep diaries, questionnaires and behavioural logs. Participants will develop sleep interventions, including alterations to sleep environments, development of good sleep hygiene, stimulus fading and graduated extinction.

Understanding the Language of Pain: Responding with tenderness and competence
Some children and youth express their pain through troubling behaviors such as: withdrawal, aggression, self-injury, agitation, eating difficulties. We will explore both the underlying meaning of these behaviors and the critical elements of skilful, tender and grounded responses, such as accompaniment, deep listening, power sensitive dialogue, and peaceful presence.
