This course is called “Career Studies” and it is geared towards developing a knowledge and skills base in each student so they can effectively deal with the following 5 issues:

1.  What do I know about myself and my world?

2.  What do I want to find out about myself and my world?
3.  What information do I need and how do I find it?
4.  What have I decided and how can I prepare for this direction?
5.  What new questions do I have for myself?

Students will work on a number of initiatives to develop themselves, their plan of education and their ability to market themselves in the world of employment.

This course is called Introduction to Business.  This course focusses on using Software to achieve success in business communication.  Students will: develop and test their typing skills; learn the intricacies of Word Processing and Desktop Publishing; gain an understanding of how databases and spreadsheets are organized, function and to manipulate data using the programs; create effective presentations using Powerpoint; and build web pages and digital animations suitable to the buisiness world.
